Cement Performance International (CPI) is proud to announce that it has been awarded "The Queens Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2007". The decision to make the Award is made by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister, assisted by an advisory committee and is a public acknowledgement of outstanding achievement in International Trade. The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious Awards for business performance and the Award for International Trade recognises companies that have demonstrated growth in overseas earnings, sustained over not less than three years. CPI is in its fifth year of operations and has year on year increased its overall and international operating revenues, with over 90% of its operating revenues coming from overseas sales. CPI will be presented with the Award later in the year at its offices in Kent and will also attend a reception for award winners at Buckingham Palace.

DIRECTORS ATTEND BUCKINGHAM PALACE RECEPTION
CPI owners and founders, Allison Riser and Peter Dover, along with Marketing Director Mark Mutter all attended a reception at Buckingham Palace at the end of July. This was part of a series of events organised by the Palace and the Queens Award office to congratulate those who won a Queens Award for Enterprise earlier in the year (CPI won the Award for International trade - see earlier news story). The three Directors were presented to the Queen and Prince Philip and also met Princess Anne, as well as many others from the Royal Household. CPI also has an Awards Ceremony planned in September where they will receive the Queens Award rose bowl from the Lord Lieutenant of Kent.
CPI HOSTS AWARD CEREMONY
At the end of September CPI hosted an award ceremony to celebrate their Queen's Award success. In addition to staff, colleagues, associates and suppliers, CPI welcomed the Lord Lieutenant of Kent who presented them with the Queens Award rose bowl.
